In 1999 at the initiative of students and professors in the Law Institute of ISU student theater was opened.

Pride of the Institute. Choristers repeatedly become winners of international festivals nationwide and is constantly performing at local and regional events, give their own concerts in concert halls in Irkutsk.

The traditional festival of students arts runs from 1992. "The Russian Student Spring" - program for students, consisting of hundreds of high school, more than 50 regional and 20 inter-festivals.
