Law Clinic
The Law Institute’s educational program is based on the use of classical, traditional forms and methods of education that guarantees a high level of theoretical knowledge of the students. At the same time innovation educational techniques such as role games and trainings, case study, brain-rings, meetings with practicing lawyers, staged trials, practical training in Forensic Science and judicial expertise are successfully applied. For this purpose there are specially equipped auditoriums: the courtroom, the forensic training ground, the museum of forensic science, the auditorium of the Roman Law. The Institute is also proud of having established Law Clinic. It allows to introduce the elements of practice into the process of education.
The main goals of juridical clinical education at the Institute are:
- To train the students engaging them into legal practice and to develop professional skills;
- To form students’ understanding of social importance of the legal profession;
- To increase the legal culture of the prospective specialists and of the society on the whole.
The Internet portal “Irkutsk Juridical” is one of the most important projects of Law Clinic of the Law Institute of Irkutsk State University. It represents a big volume of information for solution of citizens’ barest necessities.
