International Summer Law School

International Summer Law School is a cooperative project of Law Institute and foreign partner universities. International Law Schools are held each summer for 5 years. It is of interest to a wide range of undergraduate and graduate students, as both Russian and foreign teachers read lectures on most urgent topics. Students from the Association of Universities "Siberia" together with the students of Law Institute participate in law school. At the end of the International Summer Law School students receive certificates.

In 2004 and 2005 Schools were held in common with universities of city Greifswald (Germany) and Tilburg (Netherlands) on the shore of Lake Baikal.

In 2006 the School was held for the first time outside of Russia. It was held in Mongolia in the national park Terelj, together with the University "Ikhzasag".

In 2007 the School was held in the village of Bolshie Koty on the shore of Lake Baikal in common with the University " Ikhzasag" (Mongolia).

In 2008 there were two Law Summer Schools - in Poland, together with Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan) from July 18 to August 4, 2008: reports on the internship you can find here; in cmmon with the University of Mongolia “Ikhzasag “ in tourist camp "Khuduu Aral ": report on the internship you can find here.

In 2009 the International Summer Law School was organized by Law Institute of ISU in common with the Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU, Poland) on the basis of the research station of Irkutsk State University in the village Bolshie Koty.

In 2010 Law Institute of ISU, AMU and St. Petersburg State University held School at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

In 2011 St. Petersburg State University organized the International Summer Law School. Students and professors of AMU and ISU participated in the work of the School.

In 2012 there was Baikal International Law School "Trends of private law" (B.Koty, Lake Baikal). Students and teachers of the Law Institute of Irkutsk State University, Faculty of Law St. Petersburg State University and the Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland) took part in work of the School.

In 2013 Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznan, Poland) accepts the International Summer School. International Summer Law School was on Polish land for the seventh time and was devoted to topical issues of civil and housing law. Theme of the School “Legal property right. So whether is it sacred?”.

In 2014 Faculty of Law of St. Petersburg State University will take the lawyers of AMU and ISU.
