Department of Constitutional Law
The Department of State and Law, founded in 1949 when after a long break at the Irkutsk University resumed training of lawyers. Formalized research related to the study of theoretical issues of public organizations, state functions, the development of local authorities and their control of the apparatus, the improvement of the administrative-territorial division and others.
Radical change performed by the state in the nineties has formed new line department scientific researches. At present the following themes are developed: the problem of the effectiveness of law in the region, the history of the formation and development of state institutions, the problems of integrated area development, legal issues and other regional development.
