Аннотация. В статье дается оценка перехода к рыночным механизмам хозяйствования в социальной сфере.
Автором выделены признаки социально значимого рынка. Выявлено, что сферы деятельности, подпадающие
под определение социально значимого рынка, не связаны с признаками и природой той или иной деятельности.
Основное значение для выделения социально значимого рынка имеет решение уполномоченного государственного
органа и социально-экономические потребности регионов России. В связи с этим можно ожидать усиление
значимости регионального уровня правового регулирования и договорного регулирования в сфере социального обеспечения.

Abstract. The article gives an assessment of the transition to market mechanisms of economic management in the social sphere.
The author singles out the signs of a socially significant market. It is revealed that the spheres of activity falling under the definition
of a socially significant market are not connected with the characteristics and nature of any activity. The decision of the authorized
state body and the social and economic needs of the regions of Russia is of primary importance for identifying a socially significant market.
In this regard, we can expect the strengthening of the significance of the regional level of legal regulation and
contractual regulation in the sphere of social security.
