Аннотация. Дается оценка Полярному кодексу с точки зрения обеспечения баланса интересов России и неарктических

государств в использовании акватории Северного морского пути для развития судоходства. Анализируются возможные проблемы,

которые могут возникнуть при применении положений Полярного кодекса.

Abstract. The author gives an estimate of the Polar Code with respect to balance the interests of Russia and

non-Arctic states in the use of the Northern Sea Route for the development of navigation.

The paper analyzes the possible problems that may arise in the application of the provisions of the Polar Code.
