Аннотация. Рассматриваются законодательные аспекты лесной политики Екатерины II через призму деятельности учреждений (Адмиралтейств-коллегия,
Экспедиция генерал-интенданта, вальдмейстерская контора, Казенная палата), осуществлявших проведение лесного кадастра, защиту и охрану лесов,
реализацию основ кадрового и научного обеспечения лесного дела. Анализируется предоставление частным владельцам права собственности
над лесами и его последствия для лесов России.

The Russian Forest Legislation in the Period of Catherine II’s Board

Abstract. In article legislative aspects of forest policy of Catherine II, through a prism of activity of the establishments (Admiralties boards,
Expedition of the General quartermaster, valdmeystersky office, State chamber) providing carrying out the Forest inventory, protection and forest conservation,
realization of bases of personnel and scientific ensuring forest business are considered. Granting the property right to private owners
over the woods and its consequences for the woods of Russia is analyzed.
