Аннотация. Авторы исследуют соотношение содержания понятий «охрана» и «защита» в уголовном судопроизводстве. Проведено сопоставление рассматриваемых понятий в законодательстве, а также подходов к их пониманию в юридической науке. Обоснована необходимость разграничения понятий «защита прав» и «охрана прав» в уголовном судопроизводстве, раскрыто их содержание.

Value Concepts of «Security» and «Protection» in Criminal Proceedings
Abstract. In this article the author examines the ratio of the concept of «security» and «protection» in the criminal proceedings. A comparison of the concepts consolidate the legislation, as well as approaches to their understanding in jurisprudence. The necessity of distinction between «security of the rights « and «protection of rights» in criminal proceedings, the disclosure of their contents.
