Аннотация. В статье на примере демографической ситуации, сложившейся в Сербии, рассматривается проблема катастрофически низкой рождаемости. Автор апеллирует к опыту популяционной политики древних римлян, которые на государственном уровне пытались решить эту проблему.

Abstract. In the article according to the example of demographic situation, which has developed in Serbia, the problem of catastrophically low birth rate is examined. The author appeals to the experience of the population policy of the Ancient Romans who an the state level tried to solve this problem.
